Milan Township Maintenance Supervisor –
MILAN TOWNSHIP, ERIE COUNTY
Seeks a qualified person, capable of self-direction under minimal supervision from township trustees to fill the position of Maintenance Supervisor. Candidate must have High school diploma or equivalent, and must hold/maintain or be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL class B) within three (3) months of employment. This is a non-bargaining unit, 40 hour per week job with benefits. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the total operation of the Maintenance Department and township facilities including maintaining township roads, culverts, roadside drainage, township cemeteries, park, buildings, and vehicles. The successful candidate will be expected to operate a dump truck, pickup truck, road mower, backhoe, chemical sprayer, finish mower, snowplow, tractors and a variety of hand tools. Candidate must have the ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with township officials, supervisory personnel, fellow employees, including possible composite work teams with neighboring government entities, and the township’s residents.
