Fire Department
The Milan Township Volunteer Fire Department provides a full range of services to both the Township and the Village of Milan. It also furnishes emergency services to Norwalk Township on a contract basis.
Zoning Department
The department handles all requests for zoning permits and processes requests for variances through the Township’s Board of Zoning Appeals. A Zoning Commission recommends changes to the Township Zoning Resolution as needed in order to meet changing needs for land use.
Maintenance, Roads, and Parks
The department is responsible for clearing and maintaining approximately 24.5 miles of Township roads; maintaining and improving Edison Park, a property wholly owned by the Township; maintaining the historic Milan Township Hall, the comfort station adjacent to it, and the Township offices at 1518 St. Rt. 113E.
