The Milan Township Board of Trustees are requesting bids to outfit our 2026 Freightliner Plow Truck Chassis with a dump body, salt spreader, and plow.

Bids can be mailed or delivered to:
The Milan Township Trustees, 1581 SR 113 East, Milan, Ohio 44846
All bids must be received no later than January 21, 2026 at 4:00 pm at the above address, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud at the same location.
All bids must be filed and submitted in person or by mail in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Plow Truck Build” prior to the time and date set forth above.
Milan Township will not accept any, or consider any bid as an official bid unless said bidder has obtained a copy of the specifications from the Township.
The Milan Township Trustees reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any informalities in any bid, and to determine the lowest and best bid.
Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein.

Minimum Specifications:
● Installed on a 2026 Freightliner M2 106 plus with a 96” cab-to-axle
● Must be a Swenson stainless steel dump body
● Dump body is to be 11’ long X 84” wide (inside dimensions)
● Federal standard required #108 lights and reflectors
● Ecco amber strobe light system
● Certified power air operated hydraulics
● Furnish and install transmission mounted “hot shift” wet spline PTO for Allison #3000 series automatic transmission
● ½” custom steel hitch plate welded-and-reinforced to chassis frame
● Brake controller installed
● Bonnell hitch model: HFF-QX heavy front frame side plate hitch with QX front frame and offset lift arm
● Bonnell plow model: 11ST49MX1 Straight steel snow plow
● Swenson under tailgate material spreader model: SAD-6-SS 96” wide trough with quick detach brackets

The Milan Township Board of Trustees are requesting bids for purchase of a Plow Truck Chassis: 2026 or newer, 4×2 cab, 350 hp Cummins engine, with 6-speed Allison transmission, under 100 miles, and under 100 engine hours.
