Milan Township Fire Department

The Milan Township Volunteer Fire Department is comprised of 36 well-trained men and women, dedicated to the safety and protection of the residents and property of the Township and the Village of Milan. The Department is led by Chief Brian Rospert and Assistant Chief Tom Jesberger. The Department responds to a variety of emergencies, including traffic accident calls on all area streets as well as an assigned section of the Ohio Turnpike. The Department also performs safety inspections for businesses in the Township and Village.

The Department operates out of two stations, Fire Station #1 on Center St. and Fire Station #2 at the juncture of Rt250 and Rt13. Major equipment includes a ladder truck, 2 engines, a combination pumper/rescue vehicle, 1 tanker, 2 grass fire trucks, and a cargo/personnel carrier.
