The purpose of this special meeting is to
1) consider a request submitted with a Zoning Permit Application, and
2) consider a request submitted with a Township Hall User Agreement Application.
The Zoning Commission will meet at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, to discuss updates to the Zoning Code.
The Milan Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday July, 18, 2022 at 8:00pm, in the Community Room of the Milan Township Hall, located at 24 Park Street (corner of Church and Park Streets.) The purpose of the hearing is to consider the request of Tim and Marlene Plank, 9645 Willow Lane in Milan Twp., Erie County, Ohio and listed on the Erie County Auditor’s Map as Parcel 51-00012.000, for a variance from the Milan Township Zoning Resolution, Article 11.6.3a, less than 10’ required side and rear yard setbacks, and Article 24.2 Artificial Obstruction within Floodplain.

The Milan Township Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday July 25, 2022, at 7:00 pm in the Trustees’ Room of the Milan Township Hall, 24 Park Street on the Village Square in Milan, Erie County, Ohio. The purpose of the hearing is to consider amendments to the Milan Township Zoning Resolution concerning swimming pools (Articles 3, 10, 12, and 26), and regarding short term rentals (Articles 3 and 11). The full text of these proposed amendments can be viewed at the Milan Public Library, Milan, Ohio beginning Friday, July 15, 2022. Interested parties are invited to attend this public hearing. After the conclusion of the hearing, all motions will be submitted to the Milan Township Trustees for their action.
