Sparky Weilnau

SWeilnau

Sparky R. Weilnau is a 6th generation farmer in Erie County. He and his wife Catherine have two grown sons. Sparky has served as Milan Township Trustee from 1993 to 2002 and from 2007 to the present, with a 4-year stint as Erie County Commissioner in the middle. He is active in the community, serving on the Milan Historical Museum Board and the Sandusky/Erie County Community Foundation Board. Sparky is an Ohio Farm Bureau State Trustee and is Executive Vice President of that organization. He is a graduate of Edison High School and attended General Motors Institute and the University of Akron. Sparky is a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ.


Daniel Frederick

Daniel Frederick

A resident of Milan Township since 1977, Daniel Frederick and his wife Tina (Ackerman) live in the Village of Milan with their teenage sons, Zachary and Nicholas. Dan is a graduate of Edison High School, The Ohio State University, and Miami University. As a registered architect, he established Daniel Frederick Architects, LLC in 1994. He has served on the Village of Milan Board of Zoning Appeals for over 15 years. Dan is member of the Milan Chamber of Commerce, Ohio State Alumni Club of Erie County, Milan Historical Society, and the Erie County Farm Bureau. He is active as a football coach with Edison Local Schools and enjoys sailing with the Sandusky Sailing Club.


Frank Lytle

Frank Lytle

Frank Lytle was raised in Connecticut and moved to Ohio in 1966. He has a Mechanical Engineering Degree and Masters of Business Administration. Frank moved to Milan Township in 1990 and retired from General Motors Corporation in 2000. He is married to Joanne. Their three sons graduated from Edison High School. Frank is active in Serving Our Seniors as a volunteer and is a member of the SOS Board of Trustees. Frank has served on the Milan Township Zoning Commission and the Township Board of Zoning Appeals. He is an avid bicycle rider.


Jim Verbridge

Jim Verbridge

Jim was born and raised in Michigan, moving to Ohio in 1969. He resided in Cuyahoga, Geauga, and Trumbull before moving to Milan Township in 1981 following his appointment as the District Manager for the Social Security Administration in Sandusky. He retired from that position in 1995. He became the Township Zoning Inspector in 1996 and transitioned to the Fiscal Officer in 1997 via appointment to a vacant office. He has been elected and re-elected to his fourth term. He has held the same position with the Milan-Berlin Library since 1990.

Jim has two children, two stepchildren, and four grandchildren. He has been a member of the Milan Rotary Club for approximately 29 years. He is married to Becki, an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church.
